Lourd Vijay's Dance Studio proudly presents the start of its new Salsa performance batches starting April 19th 2008.

Last year we had the largest salsa student's team in the country with 40 of our students performing on stage at the same time. The performance nights were watched by over 1,500 people every night and we had 4 nights of parties and performances.
This year by popular demand we will be having three students' performances from Bangalore at our salsa event of the year -
The India International Salsa Congress 2008.

• Date: April 19th
• Course Duration: 34 hours (4months)
• Course fee: Rs. 1700 per month or pay a lump sum of - Rs.6800 for 4 months

• Course fee includes a free full festival pass worth Rs 4,500 to the India International Salsa Congress 2008 where you can
attend a choice of 45 workshops as well as attend 4 nights of parties and performances by the world's best known International Salsa dancers. You will also be able to watch the first ever qualifying rounds to be held in India for the World salsa Championships 2008 and cheer on India's finest salsa dancers as they compete to represent India in the World Championships 2008.
• As an added benefit your course fee will also include your costumes for the performance.

Timings:
• Beginners: 3-4 pm Saturday and Sundays
• Intermediate: 2-3 pm Saturdays and Sundays.
• Advanced: 10:30 am - 1:00 pm Saturdays and Sundays.

Requirements:
• Attending rehearsals regularly is mandatory. If you miss rehearsals, your rehearsal coordinator as well as your partner must
be informed well in advance.
• If you show a lack of commitment or interest in rehearsing LVDS reserves the right to ask you not to perform.
• The fee is non-refundable or non transferable.
• All first time performers are required to attend salsa parties organized by LVDS. We have a lot of international guests from Thailand, Hong Kong, Spain and Europe coming down for this event. There is no point to it if you guys practice for 4 months and then cant social dance at the parties.
• Any extra classes necessary for a couple that is lagging can be availed of in terms of private classes at the discounted cost of
Rs. 500/- per hour (junior instructor), Rs. 1000/- an hour (Senior instructor)
• Performers will have to be available to perform on any of the nights between August 10th - 16th
